ya a 120 2x can beat a 140m thow there are faster 140mm

But it makes engine jet noise, 140mm fans are not that noisy at 1500rpm, any 120mm at 3000 is unbearable (believe me I've tried with Noctua iPPC and Arctic P Max)

Get Phanteks T30 fans if you won't run into compatibility issues. they're the best 120mm on the market right now and they will absolutely compete with a normal 140mm. The P12 Max isn't a bad fan either but nothing really compares to the T30.

Yeah but they'll be 2x as loud.

Phanteks T30

Bit hard to stomach if OP is looking to fill up. The value option would be to go for P12.

They want $32 cad for the Arctic P12 Max and $35 cad for the phanteks T30 so for the $3 more you're getting a a premium product vs a ramped up cheaper model. At least from my perspective in Canada.

Weird. Like really weird.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09B2LNFV4?psc=1 30 USD for T30 (checks out in Newegg too)

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09VDNKL4G?psc=1 9 USD for P12 Max

Depends how sound sensitive you are, too.

It is indeed. I've had Canucks show me great prices there that I can't get in the US, and vice versa.

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂
