Buzzing CPU

CPUs do not make noise. Most likely it's the power delivery on the motherboard or graphics card if your putting a load on the card, such as a video game.

It is likely your VRM.

 

BUT..

 

I had an AXP 2600 that I swore made a tick noise when it was overclocked. I was new at the time and had made a thread and everyone said VRM.. 

 

I am fanatical I I swear it was the CPU ticking 😄 

 

It ticked on an Asus and Abit 🫠

Ah any way I can stop this? It happens when ever I'm doing anything even as simple as scrolling through a page it's kinda annoying
