It'll probably be released within the next month or so, I'm not expecting it to be anything amazing though they are reportedly applying decent thermal paste so that could be quite interesting

basically they are selling the CPU's the way they were supposed to: With good thermal paste.

Right now, to get a lot of heat shaved off the temps of your CPU, you had to take the top lid off the CPU, change the paste and then stick the lid back on again. This was a very dangerous thing to do for beginners and was never really recommended. But now with Devil's Canyon, we should see some better thermal paste which means we wouldn't have to de-lid CPU's anymore.

I did read the Intel could be releasing the first CPU with a base clock of 4GHz which will be the 4790K. And both the 4790K and the 4690K look to easily reach a stable clock of 5GHz. I will update this post when I find where I read it. :D

ON A 7 MONTH BREAK FROM THESE LTT FORUMS. WILL BE BACK ON NOVEMBER 5th.
