Random freezes, bsod, memory errors

Hi everyone, first post here.

 

My pc randomly exists applications, I get various bsods, I hear audio crackling when I'm doing memory intensive tasks such as rendering in after effects while having chrome open.. Or just random times when I'm multi tasking. 

 

I thought they must be memory issues. So I did a memtest86 and I got errors.

I removed one stick and redid the test and got zero errors 

 

I popped the "bad" ram back in as a single stick and got errors again.

 

I assumed this means that I have bad ram, so I drm the "bad stick" while working with the single one that had no errors.

But I started getting new memory related issues... It almost seems like the pc thinks it has more memory than it really has and it crashes the apps.

 

I have a project going so I needed to fix it so I went to get new ram and I realized that my old sticks were not on the certified list for my motherboard. I got new ram that was on that list, I boot the pc up and the issue has worsened dramatically with the brand new ram sticks that are definitely 100% supposed to work with my motherboard because they are on the certified list.

I did another memtest86 with the new rams and I got memory errors. They seem to be memory address issues (it says something like "expected this address but I got this address ")

 

 

Since it's extremely unlikely that I bought two bad ram sticks, I am going to guess that the issue is either with my motherboard or with my cpu.

 

But I wanted to get some of your opinions because I've spent so much time and money on this build and it's frustrating me a lot and my livelihood depend on it working.

 

I did update my bios as well.
