Hello guys,

So lately I OCed my i5-4670k to 4.6Ghz (pretty solid hah? :D) and from that point I got 3 BSODs, but when I ran AIDA 64 to see if it the memory or the CPU does it(I ran it for like 1 hour or something), the first two tests I got BSOD when I was trying to stress the CPU,FPU, cache, RAM, but then when I want to see which part exactly does it, RAM didn't do it, CPU, FPU or cache didn't do it as well, so then I tried all of them once again and didn't get any BSODs for a long time... Also, when I looked at the report when I turned the pc back on it sayd, I do not remember exactly, but it wass one .dmp(dump) file and some WER(with some random numbers) file.

Can you guys help me out? if you need more info about my system or the problem let me know :)

Thanks in advance

Cheers, Chos

Most likely your overclock is what's causing the BSoD, but upload the dumpufile somewhere and we can take a look at it.

I usually recommend testing an overclock for atleast 24 hours to call it stable. This mean a full test, not only a test of specific parts of the CPU.

I actually done it through the Rampage VI formula auto overclocker that I have :) the voltage goes to about 1.3V max when 100% load

Try setting it manually - I've never used those sorts of things so I Don't have a clue how good they are :P

the newest ones are really good, they are hardware, software, firmware based and they are sometimes better then a real person if you are not "proffesional" overclocker

I might have a look at some - see what results they come up with, though I had to Ditch my Overclock when I went full Hackintosh - doesn't matter since I only ever went up to 4GHz anyway
