A few months ago, I went to a computer store and with the help of an employee picked parts for my new PC but I haven't bought it yet. I'm asking for feedback here because the employee there didn't seem trustworthy.

Games, programs, or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming, programming, and maybe running Linux. I will also run a high refresh rate 1440p monitor for gaming and a 60hz 4k monitor for everything else.

Parts:

CPU: i7 13700KF (will probably change to non-F)

GPU: Gigabyte RTX 4070 Ti Eagle

MOBO: MSI Mag Z690 Tomahawk DDR4

RAM: XPG 2x16GB Spectrix D50 DDR4 3600MHz CL18

SSD: XPG 2TB Gammix S70 Blade SSD (7400 MB/s Read, 6800 MB/s Write)

CPU COOLER: Cougar Aqua ARGB 240 2x120mm CPU Liquid Cooler

CASE: Thermaltake divider 300 TG Air 2x120mm Mesh MidT ATX Case

PSU: Cooler Master MWE V2 750W 80Plus Gold 2xEPS 120mm Fan PSU

(OS not included)

What is the total price for those components and what country are you located?

I'm in Turkey and when I picked those parts, it was around 3k USD but as I said the price fluctuates a lot so it may have gone up.

$3000 is 78000 turkish lira right? IF so then this will be much better:

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor  (₺15452.10 @ Newegg Turkey)
CPU Cooler: Deepcool AK500 68.99 CFM CPU Cooler  (₺3687.42 @ Newegg Turkey)
Motherboard: Gigabyte B650M AORUS ELITE AX Micro ATX AM5 Motherboard  (₺6564.34 @ Newegg Turkey)
Memory: G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory  (₺4876.68 @ Newegg Turkey)

Power Supply: Corsair RM1000e (2023) 1000 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply  (₺7644.30 @ Newegg Turkey)
Total: ₺84509.86

It's just the shipping that's really ramping up the price. If you can source the components locally for near the same price and avoid the shipping, you will be more than happy.

The case for example - price: ₺1305.08 ; shipping ₺3523.00. Same with the PSU, the cooler, the memory...

| Ryzen 7 5800X3D | Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 Rev 7| AsRock X570 Steel Legend |

| 4x16GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo 4000MHz CL16 | Sapphire Nitro+ RX 6900 XT | Seasonic Focus GX-1000|

| 512GB A-Data XPG Spectrix S40G RGB | 2TB A-Data SX8200 Pro| Phanteks Eclipse G500A |

Thank you very much for your recommendations! One thing I'd like to say is that I don't think an x3d processor is the best choice for me and I'd prefer more cores.

Edit: Newegg is not available in Turkey and the links you provided are just shipped to Turkey. I checked the prices from Turkish retailers and they are all much more expensive because of taxes. Even if I ordered it from newegg, it would probably get stuck at customs and require me to pay much more.

Go for Z790 motherboard, not Z690.

32GB of RAM should be plenty. Either that SSD or Samsung 970 Evo Plus or WD SN770. Cpu cooler looks fine, but PSU does not. Go for Corsair or EVGA 80+ Gold Fully Modular PSU.

So a 13th gen cpu wont work on a z690 board out of the box as it wont have the bios for it.

The cougar cooler is a crappy aio

The normal glass divider 300 has flat out bad airflow the air version is good.

Psu is fine just opt for the 850 itll allow kore upgrades in the future.

Why do you think the PSU is problematic?

You would want higher wattage and a better PSU brand.
