Budget (including currency): $800 USD

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Minecraft, Forza Horizon 5, Game Development, and 3d Modeling (not super important).

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I just need a parts list that follow this, I am hoping to run these things smoothly without choppy/laggy experiences. As well, I need at least 16gb of RAM.

EDIT: I don’t really want anything RGB

Is there an NVIDIA GPU that can fit this list? (based off of what you gave me but a bit edited) https://pcpartpicker.com/user/WoodsMc/saved/#view=Z2sxf7

Alternative would be look second hand for a Nvidia GPU if you want one, you could get some mid range 20 series or maybe high end 10 series for about the price as some others have quoted here.

How is the performance of the RTX 3050? EDIT: or the 1050 Ti?

But i'd recommend if you can stretch the budget by some $40 to $840, get a

ASRock Challenger D OC Radeon RX 6700 XT 12 GB Video Card

because for $309 it's basically a 4060Ti with more VRAM and $100 less.

| Ryzen 7 5800X3D | Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 Rev 7| AsRock X570 Steel Legend |

| 4x16GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo 4000MHz CL16 | Sapphire Nitro+ RX 6900 XT | Seasonic Focus GX-1000|

| 512GB A-Data XPG Spectrix S40G RGB | 2TB A-Data SX8200 Pro| Phanteks Eclipse G500A |

I mean 3050 is better for sure, just depends on price.  If they are the same price then for sure get a 3050.

For comparison I would pay about 50% more for a 3050 over 1050Ti.  (EX 1050Ti is $100, I would be willing to spend $150 on a 3050 as it will probably be worth it)
