why does firefox randomly update

a few days ago firefox randomly updated my version to version 29 which looks like a wannabe google chrome so i re downloaded version 28, so its happened a few times when i open up firefox it randomly updates to version 29. how do i fix this shit

turn auto update off.

instal 28 again, unplug/disable internet then go to tools > options> advanced>update turn it off.
