I was away from home for a few days and when I came home today and booted up my pc, it had an error that the keyboard wasn't detected and thought that it was weird, maybe a loose wire, so I unplugged it and replugged it, then the pc had booted into windows and I realised that none of my usb devices are actually working. I've replugged every usb device, tried different ports (the mb ones and case ones), but nothing happens.

My old mb died about a month ago and after I replaced it the new one has been working fine so far (new mb: ASUS Prime B365M-K)

Everything else seems to be working fine.

Thanks in advance!

Hey, at least it nuked itself, and didn't take other components along for the ride!!!

If you still want to use this junk-tier, junk-brand mobo, you could get an PCIe USB controller card, and try your luck with that.

thanks, really helpful comment, much appreciated

Especially the last part. You've probably ignored that bit. And the first part is also a very valid statement. There have been some really high-end mobo's, that have killed other components. Where Asus was the worst of them.

Think this vid mentioned ASUS as being the worst brand for mobo's. So keep your own sarcasm, and enjoy mine. Backed-up with facts.
