is 750watts overkill?

Go to solution Solved by NF-A12x25,

650 watts is good but make sure to pick from A or B tier on the Cultists PSU tier list https://cultists.network/140/psu-tier-list/

you may be able to find a cheaper, better 650w PSU than what you picked.

16gb of system RAM is the new 8gb, I would recommend 32gb as ram is quite cheap now.

Budget (including currency): 32000 PHP = less than $600

Country: Philippines

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming and light work(Intune Admin)

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

For my next build, is 750 watts overkill for this? I'm still deciding between RTX 3060 or RX 6700 XT since 3060 is readily available(much cheaper) and 6700 XT is very limited when it comes to stocks(I want the maximum VRAMs that I can get). I also plan to upgrade later on to either a 12600(non-K or K) or a 13th Gen(selections are only limited till 13600K)

I kinda want to lower down my PSU to 650 watts but the stocks are also limited and I don't trust any online shopping here in my country. Thank you.

yes it is but its good for 'futureproofing'

Even 650w is perfectly fine for some future upgrades
