Should I buy a new PSU or stick with the rat nest?

Looks like you're good, the PSU has 5 PCie/CPU slots so 2 for CPU (if needed) and 3 for GPU, just buy an additional cable

https://www.corsair.com/fr/fr/p/psu/cp-9020196-eu/rm-series-rm850-850-watt-80-plus-gold-certified-fully-modular-psu-eu-cp-9020196-eu

Budget (1400€):

Country: Estonia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly csgo and nba2k23, but I plan on extending my games library when I get a new gpu.

Other details:

Cpu: I7-12700k

Mobo: ROG STRIX Z690-A d4

Gpu: Rx580 8gb

Ram: Corsair Vengeance ddr4 32gb 3600

Psu: Corsair RM850

Case: Fractal Design Meshify 2

Monitor: LG 27GP850-b

I was thinking on buying the 4070ti, but im not sure if 12gb of vram will be enough for the next 4+ years.

I would like to run all my games in max settings 1440p.

Never tried RT and im not sure If I would use it.

Current pricings in Estonia:

4070ti: 900-1000€

4080: 1300-1600€

7900xtx: 1150-1250€

Wouldn't the extra 50-150€ be worth it for dlss 3.0 and frame generation?

Then with 200eur more you can rather get a 4090 🙂

Any particular model I should go with?
TUF version going for 1150 eur
Gigabyte Aorus for 1160 eur
Sapphire NITRO+ for 1200 eur
POWERCOLOR Red Devil for 1218 eur

Nitro+, Red Devil and TUF OC are the best

For the current pricing I guess the TUF XTX then

Good, I have one 🙂

Beware they are gigantic, 35cm long nearly 4 slots 🙂

Will daisy chaining the cables hurt performance or cause a fire lol?

Which cables ? 8pin PCie ? You already need 3 of them, if you use extensions it'll be a rat nest 🙂

I think I will buy three custom 8 pin cables. Just incase
This cable should be okay I think: CableMod C-Series PRO ModMesh 8-Pin

Check how many cables you can put in the PSU I fear it's only 2 ...

So I would plug them into these slots image.thumb.png.57289d5b3201509a57cb3022a228cad7.png
