LED gets dimmer

I tried using some 3rd party software to customise my case fan argb lights and i noticed that once i enable motherboard argb control the lights get 50% dimmer but if i use the led button on my case for preset rgb colors the lights get brighter again why is this? I tried full brightness through rgb fusion and jackrgb but its still dim also signal rbg cannot detect my case fans. Its nothing fancy just some argb fans that came with the gamdias case.
