Budget (including currency): About $2200 AUD

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mainly for gaming, mix of everything. Want to get just good performance on new AAA games and be able to crank settings, and fast for when occasionally playing esports (overwatch, Siege, COD) with my mates. Also for Uni, but my degree can be done from a laptop so not that important.

Other details: Currently have a 1080p 165hz, but will likely invest in a 1440p monitor for this machine. Have peripherals sorted already. Not super interested in overclocking or anything. Worth mentioning I live in Darwin in Australia, so room is reguarly 30c or more without a/c on.

Questions:

Am I overspending on the mb? Would strongly prefer with wifi.

Is CPU enough (is it worth spending $40 more for 7600x?), and same with cooler (is it good enough).
