windows 11 big performance issue

Hi!

 

I have an old Acer Predator Helios 500 PH517-51-79XE laptop.

GTX 1070

i7-8750H

32Gb RAM

 

I play mostly Rainbow six siege on it

 

When i was on widows 10, I got 180-200 frames per second but today i went and reinstalled windows

I reinstalled windows 10 a bunch of times before

But this time after installing win11 (and updating all the drivers) I got like 90-120 fps, sometimes even as low as 45

 

I did all the regedit stuff i found online, set the power options to performance, messed with some nvidia control panel stuff(i never touched them on windows 10) but nothing helped.

It'll tone down/kill off all the telemetry in Windows, might help in performance boost.

Look in Event Viewer, see if there is something there that jumps out.
