Hi guys, I need some help quite urgently,

When I type something on my laptop it types in something else for example when I click the backspace button it instead shows a semi-colon. And when i press the number 7 or the letter n I get 7n as the output.

But the interesting thing is, IT WORKS FINE WHEN TYPING IN MY LOCK SCREEN PASSWORD! An external keyboard works fine (That's how I am currently typing in this forum post) but I'd really like to use my in-built keyboard as college is about to start soon!

My Laptop is an Acer Triton 300 PT315-51

First thing to check: since it's a laptop, there might be a function-key combo that turns part of the keyboard into a numpad. Make sure that's disabled.

If that isn't it, make sure you're using the keyboard layout appropriate for your region.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.
