So I'm planning to build my pc to play games and record, my objective is to record BF4 gameplay on ultra 1080p with shadowplay, I'm planning to go with this components/peripherals:

4670K

GTX 770 from EVGA

Asus maximus vi impact

16gb gskil 2400 ram cl10

H100i

Samsung evo 250gb

2x 1tb wd green

Rm650

Obsidian 250d

For peripherals:

Asus vx239h

Mm200 extended pad

Steelseries siberia elite

Corsair m65

Ozone strike pro

I want to buy it in September/October, money is not a problem, I just don't want to spend a lot on a "hobby", my question is is this a good build for the things I want to do? Do you think that I should wait for the new Maxwell gpu's and Broadwell cpu 's? Should I go for the i7? I'm planning ad well to overclock a bit, so the k unit is what I want.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

I really don't have a budget, the only thing is that I don't want to spend it a lot on a pc, I would like to buy this setup for about 1900 euros, but if something comes up I won't mind to spend like 500 more. For use is like I said bf4 recording and editing it and I'm from Portugal, also sorry for any problems with writing or vocabulary

ok well everything on the list looks fine however if you want so save some money you can cut down to a rm550w and be fine also changing the cooler to something like a cooler master 212 evo will allow to over clock and save the budget a bit and its fine the mobile sites not the best

I'd wait till August, see if Devil Canyon's CPU refresh is here and maybe Maxwell.

If you'd buy it now it would be nice yes for what you want to do.

Devil Canyon? I thought the next cpu refresh is the Broadwell, can you explain me this better? Sry for the noobish question..

I really would like to have the h100i not just because of its cooling but also for aesthetics XP, I'm trying to go also for a black and red theme and with their Sp 120pwm fans would awesome, and also the cooler the cpu is the longer he will run, at least I think so.. Also I forgot, I want to record minecraft gameplay as well, and probably upcoming games

Devils Canyon is the Haswell refresh, Broadwell is a whole new series.

Ohhh Ok, I see, and it's better to buy a z97 mobo for the haswell refresh? I absolutely love the features of the impact, if so I really hope that asus do a quick impact refresh because I don't really want to wait a lot of time...

Thanks man, I will;there's no official release date for the new cpus/gpus?

intel just released z97 motherboards that can work with the current generation haswell 4670k etc and the future cpus so id look into that for upgradability. Nvididas 800 series is going to be delayed for a while as for amd their off making apus
