Im planning on building a 13900k with a 360AIO and a 4090. I thought about the Fractal Torrent because of its good thermals but people told me not to since the whole point is the 2 front fans. Im looking for a case with good thermals since I live in a hot country.

The fractal torrent sucks balls honestly, I have a whole rant about it somewhere on here.

I'd go Phanteks G500a or Lian Li Lancool 216, depending on preference

The lian li lancool III rgb is a very good case that scores nearly the highest in gamers nexus's lineup (just under the fractal torrent, but costs less)

I used to recommend that case but I think the Phanteks G500a is a better version of it essentially. I haven't done a write up of my finding yet. Can't go wrong with either but G500a>Lancool III imo

Since you can mount a 420 rad at the front then yes. My main reason for the lancool III is because it 1. Has decent thermals and 2. Was a big case that could house both a long gpu and a 420 rad. But since the g500a can do both while being cheaper this seems fair

Fractal Torrent with an AIO does defeat the purpose of the case. I did experiment with one and a front mounted 280mm radiator which wasn't that great overall. I put the 2x180mm on the bottom and just wasn't worth it.

If you're going with a 360mm radiator, then I'd opt into any full tower, since even a Fractal Design North would have trouble with any AIB RTX 4090 and a front 360mm radiator. Something with a 360mm top mounted radiator spot would be optimal.

Yup, G500a is essentially the perfect case. I need to do a writeup of it.

My definition of a perfect case doesn't involve tempered glass, so to each their own.

Fractal Design North go brrrrrrrr with mesh side panel.

Different strokes for different folks. Why have an art piece without windows? I need to post my PC on here sometime

Most normies would think my brother's 5800x3D and 3070 build in a fancy ROG Z11 (has been going on sale for $50) is more expensive than my rig, since my rig has no RGB in a FD North. He's into that fancy RGB nonsense even though he just sets it all to red, I however, prefer subtlety.

In my opinion, gaming PCs are there to not distract you in sweaty gaming sessions or be some art piece, also the reason why I only run a single display on my setup now, previously using dual displays for like a decade.

Aircooling only. You remove that giant intake fans and it tanked. If you want similar topography with an actual AIO support, check out Lancool 216 by Lian Li instead.

Is it really made from metal? if so that's awesome! It does have nice lines and a classy aesthetic. Hopefully that translates to easy to use, maintain, build and repair in.

Sorry for the bump, but could you please briefly explain why the g500a is better than the lancool 3? I see that the lancool has more fan attachments points vs the g500a
