So I bought a Sapphire Pulse RX 580 4G from a random seller from Facebook marketplace around 4 months ago. I started noticing that when I turn on the PC, it does not post at all, another off and on and it boots to windows just fine.

Despite updated the Adrenalin drivers to the latest, I still receive this bug.

Oh and also sometimes when I do successfully boot into windows, the driver would crash and windows will switch to Microsoft basic display adapter, forcing me to restart again.

Anyone know how to fix this?

CPU: Core i5-4570

Motherboard: HP H87 Memphis-S

SSD: Pioneer 1TB SATA

Monitor: GIGABYTE G24F

Monitor 2: LG 19M45

Yep, sounds like Adrenalin alright. Try clean reinstalls with older versions. Uninstall the current version with DDU first.

Do I need to go to safe mode or do it anyway in normal boot?

Ive done it with safe mode and normal. Windows Basic Adapter doesnt have issue handing over. But one thing for sure that help is to not connect your computer to the internet to reinstall, make sure you have your driver fully downloaded. Windows update will immediately try to fetch its own graphics driver and its usually way older than what nvidia and AMD has.
