My computer only lets me connect to the internet using Ethernet cable why is this? Doesn't even give me options to choose wifi. Wifi has worked on it before. I just reinstalled all the chip set drivers and the network drivers. My motherboard is the

GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD5H.

Right now all I see is a red x on the connection symbol in the task bar. Every time I click it, it says No connections are available. HELP PLEASE!

Alrighty so it sounds like you don't have the WiFi driver installed.

Click the Start Icon, Go to Computer, Right Click and go to Manage.

Go to Device Manager and check under Network Adapters. Is there anything with a caution looking icon?

The UD5h doesn't have built in Wifi so there is either a USB or PCI card inside not working.

Find out exactly what the card is and download the exact driver for it
