Which Mobo?

Which mobo is better, the MSI MPG X570S Edge Max Wifi or the MSI MAG X570S Tomahawk Max Wifi? Both are great, but which is better? (VRMs/Overall)

Both boards use the save VRM (or at least an extremely similar one), so that's not a difference. Connectivity wise, the Edge is slightly better, but it's neither is really all that great considering they're X570 boards (the B550 Taichi is better than both for connectivity, VRM quality, and overall feature set while likely being significantly cheaper). I wouldn't really recommend either outside of a handful of situations.

try and spend a bit more for a non x x570 board (if you really need it) since the little whiny fans in the chipset heatsink can be really annoying. A b550 tomahawk is also a good mobo so check that out

But out of those two I would get the tomahawk

oh I accidentally typed SSDs. my bad lol.

 

mainly I am going x570 because I wanna have 2 pcie gen4 drives (1tb boot and 2tb extra)

so I should just go with the one with (in my opinion) better aesthetics? since they should perform roughly the same.

both of them are the x570 silent variant, none of them have chipset fans lol
