hey all,

i’ve been watching LTT for a while and i thought i’d post this here you to see if i could get in contact with someone who might be interested in a personal disaster PC or maybe bring my situation to the attention of another member of the tech tuber community.

i recently separated from my longtime partner due to being receiving the shorter end of the stick when it came to family responsibilities and had to leave for the sake of my mental and physical health leaving my 2 beautiful twins behind.

my workplace reached out and offered me a place to live in the manager residence above the venue i worked at, which was perfect for my needs. approximately 6 weeks later i decided to cash in some holiday pay to perform some much needed retail therapy and decided to upgrade my system.

i went from a r5 2600 in a msi b450 tomahawk with 16gigs of corsair vengeance 3200 and a 5700xt red devil to a r7 7800x3d in a msi b650 tomahawk with 32gigs of g skill 6000 and a 6950xt red devil and added a nzxt kracken aoi to the build instead of the stock cooler previously.

i was absolutely wrapped with the build and had zero issues including avoiding the SOC issue as i grabbed the beta bois from the get go.

here comes the sad part, about a month later and just over a week ago i had a 18650 Li-Ion battery go rogue and start a fire destroying nearly everything including all the old components that i was going to put into a build and sell second hand.

i bagged up my PC in its semi melted and heavily sooted state in the hopes that someone like would like to have a look and see what parts may have survived and use it for content for their channel.

i don’t expect anything to come of this as i’m sure you get people asking for things all the time but even just a reply would put a smile on my face

Holy shit. Glad YOU are safe at least, that could have been quite a lot worse! I am always scared of batteries / charging things when I aint at home and this proves a lot.
I hope someone can help you here, this is devastating.
