Hi folks,

Hoping for some help...

My PC keeps hard restarting itself - no error screen, just restarts.

When this first started happening I thought maybe my SSD/HDD were going bad as they were about 5-8 years old - so I replaced them for a 1TB SSD, clean install of windows and issue went. But now it's come back but happens randomly - sometimes I can use it for hours, sometimes minutes.

Only things installed is Steam and Dead by Daylight and couple of other games...

What can I do!?

so 11-12 year old system..  i think i got my two old 980's in december 2011..

what wattage model is your psu? sounds like you already replaced it?

with PSU's you usually get what you pay for. the cheapest will crap out sooner than later.. but generaly PSU degenerates over time and just can't handle the load in the end.

what budget would you have for a new psu?  i'm sure others here would find something ok at your budget.. i havn't kept myself uptodate on budget psu's..

To be honest, I have no idea of costs of a psu - my current one is VS550? Is £100 budget ok?
