The RX 6950XT is a pretty good value currently. But you'll have to provide a little more insight into what you are doing with your PC and why you want to upgrade.

Otherwise you might still be fine with the 3050 and don't need to upgrade.

Of course I forgot, human vision starts at 1440p/144hz, everything else will seem like a blurry slide show 😄

Exactly, especially for older people like me 🥸🤣

My point is rather that the 3050 always was a super bad deal, perf/price wise it's stomped by the 6600

More seriously a 6950xt needs a good CPU to be fully used, if you sport an i5 8400 or such it's a waste because CPU will bottleneck it to death, and requires a 750w PSU to operate

If I take my glasses off, i might as well play my games at 144p (not 1440p), doesn't make much of a difference anyway 😄

Well they already got the 3050 and it is perfectly valid for 1080/60, so if that is all they want, they hardly need to upgrade.

On the other hand, if all you want to do, is play games at 60fps, your CPU really doesn't matter that much. If it ever becomes a problem, you can always upgrade it down the line. You don't always need to use the whole GPU, even if you paid for the whole GPU.
