SD card reader with SATA interface?

I'd like to move from a flimsy usb 2.0 external SD card reader to an internal one. The trouble is, most of the ones I can find online require a free USB 3 header on the motherboard, which is already in use for... Well the USB on the case. I have many SATA headers available so I thought it'd be a better solution. But the only card readers I can find with SATA are offering an eSATA connector and require an additional USB 3 header...

 

Long story short: do you know of any internal card reader that uses only SATA headers? Is it even a thing?

Or if you have any recommendations on how to have both the case USB3.0 AND the card reader connected to one header, I'm all ears

Internal USB hub is still pretty much mostly 2.0, but this one by Sabrent im still dont know about. Might be your solution but havent seen many reviews of it being used for data use, mostly RGB stuff.

Granted I haven't tried anything recently, but back before USB 3 I went through a ton of internal card readers and every single one was junk.

All my SD cards are microSD with adapters to full SD, so I just got a tiny UGREEN microSD reader that works great.  It pushes up to 100MB/s.

You'll be looking for one with eSATA.

These two suggestions also require an extra USB3 header, which I don't have

You could get an add-on USB 3.0 PCIe card, or an internal USB 3.0 hub.

I feel like a PCIe card might be a better solution, as the splitters and hubs seem to have mixed appreciations. Thank you for the recommendations!
