Hey guys, this is a prebuilt bought new in January 2023. The specific prebuilt is a Powerspec g905 from Microcenter. Any idea what could be causing this noise? A full cleaning and reseating of cables has been done so far. The pc will boot up and run just fine, after about five minutes the noise will start.

Something hitting a fan probably.  What and which fan you will have to investigate yourself sadly.

Is sound most audible next to the psu?

Either a cable hitting fan blades or a water pump that has air in it (if you have one).

that air should have cleared out after 10 min..

the fan would eventualy stop by itself.. when the cable that's hitting it is worn out 😄 .. but still shoddy build to deliver that. unless it's just a bearing that's making the noice.

@O Grizz press lightly on the hub of each fan to stop them to determine what fan is faulty.
