Freezing/Blue Screen caused by PCI Express Root Port Error

ShaneSaw

Recently completed a PC build with the build as follows.

Upon windows installation is seemingly ran fine, was able to download few programs and even run cyberpunk for a bit. Later it randomly froze and I has to restart it. The freezes and blue screens are random as sometimes they occur shortly after restart other times hours afterwards. The error in event viewer is below. I've updated bios, reinstalled windows and a few other things but to no avail. Any recommendations would be great. Even if it's replacing motherboard.

First try re-seating your GPU.

Then try turning your pcie to gen3 compatibility. There was a guy who was getting the same errors from a riser card only on gen 4 mode.

Tried re-seating it. I'll definitely try PCI changing from auto to gen 4 exclusively since it should be gen 4. I'm fairly sure I tried pci gen3 and I think it crashed/froze even faster  I'm not using a riser cable thought normal mount directly in slot.

It says that you have put the file in the recycle bin so I can't access it. And these are all the ones you had right (If you didn't use the tool from Sysnative)?

Haha sorry about that restored it. But those were from minidump folder

Both crashes point to an issue with a PCIe device. This is usually the GPU as NVMe drives have their own error code. If you have WiFi (Even integrated) it could be that as well.

I noticed that one crash had EasyTuneEngineService.exe from Gigabyte involved, does this do any overclocking?
