I'd get a 4tb nvme drive. Why not, faster and similar price.

 

I wouldn't run raid here. SSDs are pretty relible, and bckups will keep your data safe in case of failure or issues(id get an external hdd for backups). Yea its not realtime, but the chance of a failure is pretty low.

you dont need an aio for anything but i9 cpus or heavy oc jobs just get an nh-d15 or peerless assassin

it will be used for gaming, yes, but also workstation (im entering an engineering focused high school next year) and will be used for fusion 360, autocad, reolit, and vs code

Also, why are you getting a 450 dollar mobo? Scale that back to ~200, 250 tops, and either save the money, or put it towards better components such as faster CPU or GPU depending what matters more for you.

Is a post code display worth 250 dollars…….? Probably not. It’s one of those things that used to be cheap, should be cheap, but no longer come on anything except high end mobo’s. But realistically, they don’t matter. They are convenient, but not worth the cost at all.

yh do this.. pretty much what i said. you could always have the seoncnd hdd in the pc and run a script to automoticly back up

If you want a whole backup daily, then just use veeam for Windows, if Real time file backup, with difference, then you can use freefilesync for it ( just you have to Set it up in it ) it uses ntfs function to search for edited files.
