I don't think so... at least not with Windows 11. The personalization options let you show/hide the menu altogether, but you can't move the network or sound icons. Ehh kind of odd. Why do they care so much about these particular settings, right?

 

Edit: Some quick searches online shows it's possible with Windows 10, but not 11.

For future search reference in case you need it, it's called "System Tray" or commonly abbreviated to SysTray

You want to minimise to the system tray? The app has to explicitly support that. Generally with Windows applications the main process is tied to the primary window. Closing the primary window quits the app's main process. So in order to support closing the primary window and running in the background either you or the developer have to do some work on it.

 

But getting into the System Tray is something only the developer can do.
