Issues with Inputs Disconnecting/Freezing

I'm experiencing an issue with my computer in which whenever I boot up my pc from shutdown or sleep, whenever something performance-heavy really starts to happen, my inputs disconnect and my audio crackles. It occasionally causes my computer to freeze. I'm not sure what the cause is because my power supply should be adequate for what I'm doing, which I thought was the problem. Another thing that Confuses me is that this only occurs during shutdown and sleep; when I restart, the problem does not occur. Do you have any suggestions?
