My pc doesnt post

Ok, take the board out of the case and put it on the anti static wrapper it came in. Take everything off it except the cpu and heat sink, and speaker. Connect power. Use a screwdriver to short the power pins. If you still get no errors you either have a dead board or dead cpu, or something by is wrong with your psu.

 

only way to verify from there is to start replacing components or take it to your local repair shop so they can test the components.

 

here is the speaker location, bottom middle.

Asus b450m a-II

Ryzen 5 1600

Rx 470 rog strix 4gb

G skill ripjaws v 2x4 3200 MHz 

 when i try to turn on my pc it doesnt post no Red leds

i bit more info is needed.. are fans spinning, any life? any thing happen before this issue like u changing components/ moving the pc. try resetting cmos

I builed this pc yesterday and Yeah all fans are spinning and i tryed CMOS reset

hi next time could you quote me. just means that im more likly to respond.

 

has it ever posted?? are there any debug leds? are the gpu fans spinning. the pc parts are quite old so im assuming you got them used?

GPU are fans spinning and yes some of Parts are used

Any error lights or beeps? Do you have the motherboard speaker installed?

No errors anyfing i have think i have mother board speakers installed only the fans spin and noting else happens

Ram prob isn't dead and ill try to install diffrent GPU on monday to see if CPU or GPU is dead
