This Is my first PC build ever and I am really nervous about it. I've been a console gamer for as long as I can remember. I'm sick of all that as I'm more of a hands-on type of person and wanted to know more about Computers. Hearing this, a friend had shared a link with me to a PC Perspective article about a build that will be able to game on par or above the Xbox One and PS4. While I didn't follow that build's outline exactly, I did follow roughly 80% of it due to my Budget being a little tight.

Here's the link to the article:http://www.pcper.com/news/General-Tech/Video-How-Build-Gaming-PC-Beat-PlayStation-4-and-Xbox-One

My Actual Build:

Case: Raidmax ATX--248NWU RT

Motherboard: MSi 970A-G43 AMD 970 950 AM3+

Processor: AMD FX-6300 Vishera 3.5GHz

Graphics Card: MSi R9 270X Gaming 2GB

RAM: G.SKILL Ripjams X 8GB memory kit (2x4GB)

PSU:Corsair CX 600

Hard Drive: Hitachi 2TB (was given to me by friend)

Wi-Fi Adapter: ASUS PCE-N15 Wi-fi Adapter (IEEE 802.11b/g/n)

Optic Drive: LG Internal Super Multi Drive 24x DVD+R 8X DVD+RW

Operating System: Window 7 Professional 64bit

I was just wondering if there is anything I should have done a little differently with this build, if i should change some parts out due to quality concerns, or if it's a decent first build. Thanks :)

Use PCPartPicker.com.

Here is yours: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3HWsk

Here's my revised one: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3HWye The only difference is instead of a 6300, it's a 8120. It's got 2 more cores and is more capable of overclocking for a much better performance, and I also added a CPU Cooler for it, to keep cool when you plan to overclock. Add $50 and you can have better performance that you won't regret in the future.
