That cheap $120 seven phase Asrock board isn't going to cut it with that cpu.

The B760 chipset doesn't offer enough PCIe lanes to run dual M.2 SSD's without gimping the second M.2 SSD. You want an H770 / Z790 board for that.

I'm curious how it "gimps" the second M.2 with nothing else plugged into chipset lanes.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

The B760 chipset offers 12 PCIe lanes vs 24 for the H770 chipset and 28 for the Z790 chipset.

Which gimps the second slot how? M.2 1 and the GPU will use CPU lanes, and the second M.2 will use 4 chipset lanes. You've got 8 left.

Kind of like when you add an NVME SSD to most B660 boards it disables a SATA port.

Odd. That’s not said anywhere in the manual for the boards listed above and Asus lists that limitation when it is a limitation. That’s also on boards with 6 Sata ports, not 4.

AMD cards have heavily improved in driver stability. Would i still update it every release? No not really, but its so much better now compared to RX480 days. In terms of AMD CPUs though, theyre so much better in value and performance after Zen 1, and with Zen 4 they only strengthen their foothold as gaming and streaming king. Brand loyalty can cloud you from good purchase.

If something like that I want a big change as well as a new gene from ddr4 to ddr5. I don't want to change the monitor for now since I also have a 55-inch Sony TV

EVGA is kinda middle tier now. MSI is one of only a small handful of PSU makers that offer the new ATX 3.0/PCIe 5.0 standard. A must have nowadays if you are going NVIDIA or high end AMD GPUs.

EVGA puts their name on other psu manufactures power supplies.  They used to get their psu's from Super Flower but they stopped buying from them and it's been downhill for them since then.  MSI is a CWT psu with Japanese resistors and a 10 year warranty.
