I dont know much about computer but I would like a white/pink theme. My current PC is a OMEN prebuilt but I really wanna build one for my birthday. My current pc has 2tb harddrive and a 500gb SSD so a lot of space would be nice, I dont know much about that so I just put whatever, Things I know for sure I want for the PC are the case and CPU cooler but the rest I just kinda put there. I dont know anything about GPUs but my current one is a 1650 and I just put a white one in the picker list cuz well...it was pretty. I do know that I wanna try out demanding games though

I'm not seeing a power supply in your build.

Take the money saved and get the RTX 4060 Ti due for release in less than two weeks from now. btw you can always add one of those preshistoric mechanical drives later on down the road.  For now you want to go big on your SSD or you will regret it.

I wouldn't get a new HDD at this point. Prices of SSD's have gone down to the point where it's not too much to get 2TB. I would probably go with Ryzen 7000/Intel 13th gen at your budget. Here is an example build for ryzen 7000:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 4.5 GHz 8-Core Processor  ($294.99 @ Newegg)
CPU Cooler: ID-COOLING PINKFLOW 55.2 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler  ($119.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: ASRock B650 PRO RS ATX AM5 Motherboard  ($196.86 @ Amazon)

Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow ATX Mid Tower Case  ($94.99 @ B&H)

If you see yourself upgrading your CPU in 3-4 years, I would go with AMD platform. If not, either one will do.

For the case, I went with a white micro atx case. It is small (don't worry, it's still easy enough to build in) but still pretty. It also has RGB fans (so no need for that extra fan), and is easier to fit it on your desk (or wherever you plan on putting it). Went with the newer 13th gen i5 cpu and white msi motherboard. I would ditch the hard drive, as it will be the slowest component of your build. If you need more storage, you can always add another m.2 or 2.5" SSD later on. The 2TB drive should last you for quite a while though.

Upgraded the graphics card to a RTX 4070, which will be significantly better than the 1650 (by A LOT) and quite a bit better than the 3060Ti too. Hope it helps. If you have any questions, then let me know. 🙂

HP Omen uses primarily standard ATX atleast on the high end, you can genuinely work off that. What model in specific?

Honestly no clue, It has a Ryzen 5 3500, 8gb (I replaced the ram completely so at 16 gb atm) and a 1650 gpu. I've had it for 2 years and its always super slow, cpu is constantly at 50+% usage on desktop with nothing open...100% when running any games, even small ones. I constantly had only 1-2gb of ram free which is why I got more, sitting on desktop it uses 8gbs. harddrive was always at a 100% on desktop so I got another harddrive and put everything on it. It blue and black screens constantly, my powersupply sounds like a lawn mower and the fan inside doesnt work haha. The pc just hasnt treated me good since i had it and it only gets worse
