Hi there, I'd like to get a whole new PC build. My current one is: 5900x. Asus X-570P, G.Skill Aegis 2x16GB PC 3200 F4-3200C16D-32GIS.

What should I get to have a noticeable performance improvement? Would you suggest sticking to AMD with AM5 or switching to Intel? Thanks a lot.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X | Motherboard: Asus Prime X570-P | RAM: G.Skill Aegis 2x16GB PC 3200 F4-3200C16D-32GIS  | GPU: MSI Geforce RTX 4070 | PSU: Corsair TX750M | Cooling: Thermalright PA 120 SE

I currently have a 4070 but I'm planning to get a 4080. My case is a BeQuiet Pure Base 600 and I have a 750w power unit. I live in Italy. I'm kinda satisfied with the performance but I'd like more. I game and also edit videos and photos.

from OP's sig, a 4070.

Honestly that PC is straight up mint. If you wanna see slight performance increase in games you can plop in 5800X3D for practically free considering 5900X resale value, but thats it. If youre satisfied now you dont need to consume. Whats your target in "more" here? Some games are just really poorly optimized currently or ever that they never fully take new parts performance.
