First time overclocking.

Okay guys, overclocking noob here. I just built my very first computer I want all out on the parts. I need to know how to overclock my cpu which is the 4930k being cooled by the H100i by corsair. What is the safe temp for my CPU to be at? And this chip is sitting in the very sexy motherboard, the Rampage Extreme Black Edition. I know how to get to all the bios settings but how do I overclock from there?

The safe temperature is 75°C.

You can try to follow this guide:

I wouldn't recommend using the exact numbers, since the silicone lottery is in place, and your chips is a newer one.

Anything under 80C is fine, you should be able to get 4.6 Ghz with your h100i provided your chip will do it.
