Hello,

I have just built my first computer, I have installed Windows 10 64-bit onto the machine, and downloaded the most recent drivers. I am now trying to update bios and enable xmp but I cannot get into my bios. I have tried both spamming delete and shift-restarting. On bootup the motherboard Aorus screen doesn't pop up. When I do attempt to get into bios by spamming delete or shift-restarting, my monitor goes into an endless cycle of showing HDMI-No signal and going to sleep. Because of this I thought that I was getting into bios but I just wasn't able to see it so I connected to the motherboard instead of my graphics card and nothing. I tried every possible resolution to see if that could fix it and still nothing.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950x3D

GPU: MSI Geforce RTX 4090 SuprimX

Motherboard: X670E Aorus Master

Power supply:HX1000i

Memory: Delta DDR5 2x16GB 6600MHz

Any help is appreciated!

I don't know, so I'm asking: is the delete key the "enter BIOS/UEFI" key? Because there are multiple keys for different boards/brands. I've also seen F8 and F2. Check your manual to be sure. (too lazy to check myself)

The manual says to press delete to get into bios, so I really have no idea what could be happening. If xmp isn’t that big of a deal, then I would just ignore it, however if you could also find a person over at gigabyte to talk to for troubleshooting. If worst comes to worst you could always just return it and get a new one. Good luck!

Your motherboard might be skipping the splash screen(Fast Boot? I forget the exact name) - for now, try this: When in Windows, go to the power options button, and while holding Control and Shift, hit Restart. You should get a set of options - I think you go into Advanced Options. You should be able to select an option that allows you to go into BIOS - I think it'll have the name UEFI Firmware, or something to that effect.
