So i remember several years back a friend of mine told me about a site, that you could access to create an installer for that would include a bunch of software you selected to install, and do it faster and easier. Not having to search and download each program or installer.
But for the life of me i cant seem to remember the name or what to search for online to find it.
and no it wasnt creating a windows batch file, it was a custom installer that you could pick and choose programs from a list, or i think even add your own to the list, and set it up in a chain to install.
does anyone remember or know of any such site and if its worth it?

(assuming its not going to install a bunch of malware and other malicious programs without your knowledge)

thanks in advance

Yup, sounds like Ninite.

https://ninite.com/

Way back when, before Ninte existed, I made a 'custom installer' that ran a bunch of .exe and .msi installers as silently as possible. That made standing up new XP machines pretty easy, without having to learn XP's deployment toolchain when Windows 7 was on the market.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

If you wanna play around with custom installs and ninite dont have the app, check out Winget(Windows package Manager)

and combined with https://winstall.app/.

You can make som nifty scripting when you need to batch install apps,

Edit

Forgott on winstall.app , when you selected the apps click generate script så you see the code to run it also that dont require any login to the site.
