Does Halo Infinite have sword/weapon parries?

nightmarevoid

I remember back in the days of halo 3 that a really well-timed weapon melee could actually parry a sword, similar to a sword/sword parry. Thing is, I can't tell if it's possible in Halo Infinite, and I don't know if that's because of the game being buggy or if it's because they still haven't brought that feature back. Super random, but does anyone know?

Aorus GTX 1080ti

G.Skill TridentZ 3200MHz 2x8GB

Corsair SFX 750W

Phanteks Evolve Shift Air (glass front)

As far as I’m aware it doesn’t, every so often the infinite community on assorted forums requests that the feature be re-added implying it’s not in the game currently.

Halo Infinite is essentially dead AFAIK. There are like 1-2k active players and 343 updates it maybe once every 6 months. Most epic failure of a game I can remember for a VERY long time. Even the most hardcore Halo fans I know don't play it and have moved on to CoD, Apex, Valorant, etc.
