Thinking of a RTX 4070 for rendering

Im thinking of upgrading my system starting by the graphics card. My main workload is 3D with Maya, Zbrush, Blender and Marmoset.So I cant choose to have a AMD graphics card since most of these software have been optimized to run on CUDA cores. I game sometimes when I have time but I have 1080p monitors. Yes I have 3 of them

My current system is an AMD Ryzen 7 2700x with an Asus GTX 1060 6GB and a 650W PSU in a MSI B350 Gaming Plus motherboard

Im thinking of getting a RTX 4070 since its the most powerful card that my current PSU can handle with the most VRam that is good for rendering. I have seen benchmarks that put it on par with a RTX3080.

I would like to upgrade and not have to worry about for the next 5 years. And prices for the 3000 series are still high. So my though is to get a 4000 series that has lower power consumption

Current prices in Europe are around 700 Euros. But I have seen one go as low 620 EUR.

Do you think this is a good decision? Should I wait for NVIDIA to release the 4060 so the prices drop? Will the price drop?
What are you recommendations?

The 4060 is going to be garbage. I say go for it if you can get it on sale. Microcenter in the US was giving away $100 steam cards with purchase last week, I assume more retailers will start doing stuff like that
