I am attempting to finish my new custom build, with the following parts:

Gigabyte Aorus B650M Elite AX

Ryzen 5 7600x

32gb Corsair Vengeance 5600mhz CL40

PNY 3060ti

Samsung 970 Evo 1TB

Corsair 750w PSU

Every part is new, except for the SSD and the GPU, which came from my old system. I have already wiped the SSD, and the GPU came from my old intel based system. No matter what I try to do, the computer can't boot into a windows installation drive, or even a bios update. Upon doing either, the system simply power cycles, and when trying to use Q flash can only verify the files, then goes back to boot looping. I want to believe that it was just the SSD or that the GPU maybe had an invalid driver for the system, but that shouldn't matter in this instance. Why would the board/CPU refuse to boot to something? I've never seen anything like this.

PS, I have to turn secure boot off and CSM on, and onto legacy at that for the system to recognize the 970 or a windows installation drive as boot drives. Even more weird.

On first boot it's gonna do a heck of a lot of memory training, like 15-30 minutes of memory training where it will try to run at the razors edge and keep dialing back speed and timings until stable.

My B650 AORUS Pro AX took the standard 45-60 seconds first time.  If others have had theirs take that long, that just sucks.

Ok, well the good news is that Ryzen 7000 has o board graphics, so try using just onboard graphics to get into a boot.

I tried all of these, actually. Individual dimms didn't solve the issue, and for whatever reason the integrated graphics refuse to boot. This is honestly something I've never encountered. I stopped by my geek squad that I work at and got my colleagues thoughts and all of us were stumped.

At this point just RMA it or return exchange it. No use wasting more time.
