Hi Guys,

Recently my laptop has been facing some lag spikes whenever i try to play some games. I opened task manager and I found that that 13.4GB/15.9GB is used and when I looked at my users tab, my user only uses about 1.4GB.

The thing is there are no other users on my laptop other than me and no one else uses it... Is it normal behaviour?

Go to Processes tab and then click on Memory. It will show you exactly what's using RAM.

Details tab won't show you everything. There are a lot svchost and services are hidden behind it. So, most of the times, if something made by Microsoft is using much memory, it's impossible to know what because, well, it only says svchost.

I don't see anything unusual here. You're obviously running a game so RAM usage is high. Are you still getting lag? If so, try updating the Windows to the latest version, as well as clean installing GPU drivers (by clean install I mean running DDU for uninstallation and then installing drivers downloaded from manufacturer's website).

Can you show the same screenshot, but for the details tab? It should provide more info without grouping and hiding apps together.
