although i agree that userbenchmark is a scam and you should not use there website for anything exsept laughing at how wrong they are. the i3 is probbably better fr gaming as it has much more powerfull single core performance

The i3 has higher IPC and probably running clock than the much older TR. So for lightly threaded use cases, it probably is better. That i3 is probably faster than my 12 core i9 by that criteria too. 

 

The problem we always had is that people look for a single number to express how good something it, and a single value can't capture complicated real world uses.

As water is wet, so is Userbenchmark terrible for CPU comparisons. Even the Intel subreddit shuns them, let alone AMD...

userbenchmark sucks but i would absolutely rather play games on an i3-13100F than a threadripper system.
