RTX 4070 won't initialize with riser

Hello, I recently got a RTX 4070 and while it works fine in the PCI slot it won't doesn't work when I use my riser cable. I previously had a Ghost gen3 riser and due to the issue bought their gen4 cable hoping it would fix the issue. While both riser cables work with my old card (RTX 2070S) neither works with the 4070.
I've updated my bios to the latest version and changed the riser settings in the BIOS but so far nothing has worked. Any ideas? 馃檪

(My Motherboard is a Asrock聽Z690M-ITX/ax)

Did you actually change the PCIe gen to 3 or 2? On some mobos the "riser" setting refers to bifurcation which is completely unrelated.

Maybe try to go down to Gen2 if you can, if it still doesn't work then it's probably not really a speed issue.

BTW you probably want to leave DMI on auto (that's the CPU to chipset communication).

Still not working sadly. Attached are the rest of the settings in case there is something else I'm missing.聽

I currently have exact same issue. I have RTX 4070 and it works just fine if it's plugged directly to mobo. If i use my riser cable, It don't even boot. But if I use my old GPU (1660 Super) with the riser cable It work normally. I have NZXT H1 case so i NEED to use riser cable. Pcie GEN 3, 2 and 1 in BIOS don't work either. Honestly don't know what to do. My last chance is to buy a new Pcie GEN 4 cable. But as you wrote, it doesn't work either. I would really appreciate any help or if you find any solutions.
