My a friend I recently found out about zip bombs. I decided to take a closer look at them and they have insane compression ratios. How does this work? for example 243 PB to 42 MB. If this technology was instead used for legitimate reasons (ie. clearing up disk space) why haven't anyone implemented it yet?

I hit 700W on an i5 with a NHD15

Also I'm 14 so please just confirm anything I say with someone more experienced

Because they don't actually include useful data, it's just have a structure and data that is spesifically used to be highly compressible and become huge when uncompressed.
