iPhone 8 touchscreen not working

My iPhone 8’s touchscreen is bugging out, and it is no longer working. I tried to restart, but I couldn’t, because of the “slide to power off” function. Any ideas on how to fix it? I CANNOT BUY A NEW PHONE. I have an iPhone 7, of Which I am writing this from. But I would like to use the 8, because I prefer the new functionality of ios16

I try to be a human, but I cannot, because I have returned to monke.

Could be the digitizer. I'd try replacing the screen, as it could be an issue with that. Otherwise, it's something board level that's broken, and probably wouldn't be worth fixing, as it could be anything, like the Touch IC, or any resistor, trace or whatnot inbetween. Hopefully it's just the digitizer.
