Linux not booting (uncompression error)

Hello i have an advantech SBC PCM9375F with Linux installed on a IDE flash module (44pin)

 

BIOS works just fine but does not boot i get GRUB loading stage 1.5.

 

Uncompression error system halted

 

Im happy to hear any advice or new information thank you in advance

You could be running into a corrupt flash drive.  I would try to see if you can find an old IDE HDD to plug in and see if you can load it up on that, or an IDE to SATA converter and use a SATA drive.
