So where do I start...
I put together and built a PC for a friend. The PC worked perfectly and was very cool. One day, while playing Borderlands 3, the PC crashed and wouldn't turn back on. When he opened the PC, his M.2 SSD had literally cracked, even though it was installed correctly. We sent the M.2 SSD back to the vendor and received a new one. We installed it and then tried to install Windows, but it didn't work. We only saw the Windows logo with the loading circle briefly before the PC rebooted. I then installed a different M.2 SSD, which had Windows preinstalled, and we were able to get to the Windows lock screen, but after a crash, the same problem occurred. After visiting the local PC store, they said that the PCIe lanes were damaged, so we replaced the motherboard. However, the same problem still occurs. What I noticed the last time is that the second M.2 slot is not recognized in BIOS, no matter which M.2 SSD we install there. Could the issue be with the CPU? I'm at a loss...
