R7 5800X3D normal single spike temp while in iddle?

Hello everyone,
Sometimes I get a single random spike in temps like this one while idling, like random, 61ºC, 67ºC or 54ºC like this one, not constant, just a random spike then goes back to 32ºC or 24ºC
I do really think that this is normal, but I just want to have peace of mind.

Thanks!

this might just be due to background processes. Try updating your bios to the latest version. Also what cpu cooler do you have?

Message me on discord (bread8669) for more help

Arctic Liquid Freezer. It used to do the same with my older 3600x where it would have random spikes.

If I'm playing cs it really keeps constant 55C +/-. I think this is just Normal and the cause is some background stuff as I meant Iddling but I meant desktop use.

ye i think its normal. Also the 3d vcache is just above the cores so that might be interfering a bit (nothing you can do about it without breaking your cpu) So i would just leave it, also 55 degrees is still good.

Nice cpu cooler pic, i got the 280 version of that and my 5600 NEVER breaks 50, even in cinebench r23

I don’t see that behaviour with my 58X3D, but I am not using an AIO.
