Been having crashing issues and ran memtest and im getting errors. I find it hard to believe that I got 4 bad ram sticks. what are the chances its the mobo or cpu causing the problem

If you are are running 4 sticks, only 1 may be bad or only 1 slot could be bad on the motherboard.  Try to run the test with 2 sticks and then 1 stick ( Switching sticks if one crashes to see if others are good, switch slots too )  Until you find the one that might be faulty. Process of elimination.

I have been slot 1 just shoots of hundreds of errors and the other slots seem ok unless you let memtest run longer and then I still get errors

What motherboard, cpu do you have and what ram did you buy? Give me the exact ram number.
