Any recommendations for good RPGs thinking of a turn based strategy maybe?

On old school turn-based Rpg could be Shadowrun, if you like the fantasy/cyberpunk setting

Check out a company called spiderweb software, they have a TON of games. 

 

I forget who else makes good stuff...

Supposed to be really good. Also has an expansion. 

Came out like 2015.

Sweet. Have you tried Jagged Alliance 2?

Its mostly combat with some light Rpg elements. And some rpgs. Mostly LAWs.

Fun game.

If you have never played Final Fantasy you should do it, any installment, they are one of the best RPG games that exist in my opinion

South Park: Stick of Truth and Fractured But Whole were fun turn based combat RPGs.
